Craving for Dim Sum one weekend, so we visited the Feng Yuan Dim Sum (丰源美食楼) at 88 Marketplace, KK. This non-halal outlet are among the latest addition to Dim Sum restaurant in Kota Kinabalu. Another newly opened Dim Sum restaurant is the Dim Sum Recipe (点心之家) at Lintas Plaza, which I will update soon.
For Muslim friends who are seeing this, don't be disappointed because KK do have some Halal Dim Sum outlets namely Dynasty Restaurant at Promenade Hotel KK and Asian Restaurant at The Horizon Hotel. The famous Fu Yuan Kopitiam, although yet to regain their Halal Certificate, are still "serve no pork" and offering some simple "Sao Mai" (Chicken Dumpling) and "Fu Zhok" (Fish Paste Wrapped in Tofu Skin) as usual.
