Just came back from a wonderful, inspiring, and eye opening experience with some creative minds at
The Art Factory 2014, CAD Sabah. I couldn't wait longer to share with ALL OF YOU but picture editing is tiring... but finally it was done! As mentioned in my
previous post, I attended the Coffee Cupping Session which was instructed by David Lee, barista and co-owner of INCH Coffee Movement.
What is
Coffee Cupping? OK, let's skip this first because I am going to give it a good coverage and it's gonna to take some time to put all the words together. Will be posting my first proper cupping session (although I did attended coffee appreciation session at other cafe before) later tonite as the
Part II of this blog post.
For 2 days
(13/12 & 14/12/2014 - TOMORROW LAST DAY!),
The Art Factory is held from
10AM until 6PM. I saw about 20 vendors at the bazaar who offer, but not limited to, creative handcrafts such as rings, earrings and decorations; I also saw hand-sewed leather pouches and bags, cuddles and gifts (X'mas is just around the corner!), books, cute-looking hand-drawn cartoons on jeans/cloths and fine art prints.
There are 3 Sabahan's directed films - namely
Karaoke, Kolam and
Di Ambang at the upper floor. No ticket is required (sorry, no popcorn too). Too bad I missed Karaoke and only managed to catch
Kolam (Pool) - a short film / documentary by Chong Chan Fui who carefully tell the attemps of community-rebuild in Aceh, Indonesia, who survived from the deadliest tsunami in 2004.
