The Peak Market @ The Peak Vista, Kota Kinabalu

SERVE NO PORK | WESTERN + JAPANESE FUSION | ALL DAY DINING | 088-253903

I believe there is no other restaurant like The Peak Market in Sabah. This newly opened shop at the Peak Vista serves multiple functions: it is a restaurant, a cooking classroom, a furniture showroom (yes, you are right!), a wine cellar and a grocer! Almost every furniture in the restaurant has a price tag attached, if you like something in the shop (ie. the chair you are sitting), just inform the waitress and pay at the counter! Food-wise, The Peak Market mixes between the western cuisine and the Japanese food in some of the menu, do come and experience yourself!

Fresh Oyster and the oyster shooter

"Passionate Embrace"
Monk Fish Liver with Citrus, Dressing Top with Cupid's Love Potion

See the topping on the yellowish monk fish liver?
That's the Cupid's Love Potion, which "sparks" when you put in your mouth!
Guess what is that?

"Longing Looks"
Crab Cake Risotto with Wild Mushroom

"Tender Loving Care"
Mini beef tenderloin with Stuffed Manicotti

Yummy!

Stuffed Manicotti - Manicotti is a kind of Italian pasta, which is quite similar with lasagna,
only with one different: The pasta is rolled instead of layered

"Sweet Happy Ending"
Lemon & Berries Posset, Oreo Cheese Cake, Chocolate Dipped Strawberry and Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream

FYI, the "Cupid's Love Potion" is actually this:
