When I first heard about this sandwich & hoagie (Imagine Subway's the foot-long sandwich) stall, I was both impressed by the name and the chef. According to the introduction note found on their FB page, "Sandowichi" means sandwich in Japanese. The whole idea of phrasing this name already suggested a Japanese-inspired, yet uniquely created name! Another "wow factor" for me was, Jon (Jonathan Willie) the chef often disappeared from his stall when he is summoned to play piano at elsewhere. So, dear submarine sandwiches lovers, do try your luck when visit to Gaya Street next time, or call the number at the bottom of this blog. I can guarantee you would discover some unique flavors here at Marry Me Sandowichi.
