The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf @ Damai Plaza, KK

We've tried out The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL)'s breakfast set twice and they are quite nice despite a bit pricey. Then another time during a tea break I ordered a croissant tuna sandwich but the croissant was cold and so the fish, like, icy cold that I requested the waitress to toast for me. The come back was equally terrified, so forget about mentioning it here today.

Still, we decided to try their dinner. We know it won't get anything wrong with salad, so salad for BigFish. For mine, the waitress happily recommended Special Roast Chicken with Minestrone Soup which then was out of order and was exchanged with Vegetable Soup. Actually if they didn't tell me about the soup, I wouldn't have realize that the bowl was not the one as I was told. I only know Minestrone Soup is a type of vege soup but I don't know how it taste like!

Very well, back to the point.

CBTL's Caesar Salad was excellent, if not the best in town! I wouldn't need to explain much how delicious it is because as long as you get the ingredient right, you will get it right. The Roast Chicken was fine only too plain, with that kind of price tag (RM20+ for a quarter chicken) I am expecting a little bit more from the kitchen, not just lots of mushroom gravy.

Dun forget CBTL offers tea too, not just coffee!
