Welcome Seafood Restaurant @ Asia City, KK

It's getting difficult to introduce nice and unique seafood in KK, of course there are some good restaurants which I visit regularly but there are also some quality not up to expectation. Sometimes I rather go to the similar place then paying with disappointment, but this shouldn't be the way a foodiot eat, isn't it?

Last year, Welcome Seafood Restaurant opened their branch in KK town after established their business in Penampang many years ago. I tried the old one and was all satisfied with their food, but before I go there again for the famous "Kam Heong Crab", I got an oppurtunity to sampled some seafood at their branch in Asia City... you know, my expectation always go lower for the branches, as its not easy to train out a good culinary team!

Oyster got bulu...

Their famous crab... hmmm...

I seldom eat cooked Kerang (cockle), but luckily this one still a bit raw. Like it!

Raw oyster @ RM6 each!!! Quite big though, compare the size with lemon...

Tung Feng Snail, good as usual
Claypot Fish Head, the best dishes of the night!

20 Days Without Blogging

Never quit blogging for so long.

Coffee Bean (not to forget the Tea Leaf) was once my favourite coffee spot. Back in 1998 when I was still wearing green trouser and white shirt, there was one Coffee Bean outlet near the cross between Petaling Street and Jalan Hang Lekir. My memories with Coffee Bean and the Ice Blended all started here, but it ended bitter after Frappuccino came into my life...

I am back, Hola!

A'Roma Ristorante KK @ Damai Plaza

Remember earlier on I blogged about the bakery which serves western food, the ConsFood Cafe at Yakim Jaya, KK? Here another one, the Southern Bakery now turned into half-bakery, half restaurant concept. The bakery still remained, only smaller. While the Italian restaurant, A'Roma Ristorante occupied the other half and is running by another boss.

Decoration at one corner

Quite spacious, I think the space can accomodate at least 20 people at a time
Ice Leom Tea....not bad la...

Avocado Smoothies (RM6.90)

Diavola Indosa Prada - 10 inches pizza with beef pepperoni and tomato  (RM13.50)
During my first visit, I think the pizza was OK but during the second, I bring a friend over but he seemed don't like it so much. Haha... is this consider as "mixed review"?

A closer look

Melanzane Parmigiano - Baked Eggplant with Cheese (RM15.90)
Very strong smell of cheese as they are using the cousin of the Parmesan, equally smelly Grana Padano Cheese.

Pasta al Pomodoro Spaghetti (RM17.90)
